Then add the following line to your User-Startup: run >nil: c:grab Or just drag the desired icon to the WBStartup drawer. USAGE Press Ctrl-Alt-S to save the entire screen or press Ctrl-Alt-A to save a part of the screen. After pressing Ctrl-Alt-A you see a crosshair you can move with the mouse. Click with the left mouse button on the top left edge and then click on the bottom right corner to mark the area to be saved. Now press the right mouse button to save the hatched area or press the left mouse button again to get the crosshair back and start again. If you press the right mouse button while you see the crosshair, you can choose a window to be saved by moving the mouse over it. After choosing a window, press the right mouse button to save it or press the left mouse button to get the crosshair back. Hardcopies are saved using datatypes resulting in IFF pictures. The crosshair by default is red. With the space bar you can cycle through different colors: red -> green -> black -> white CONFIGURATION The following tooltypes or shell arguments can be passed to Grab: DIR=RAM: Set the directory to save hardcopies to. NAMEFMT=hardcopy%d.iff Set the file name for the hardcopies. "%d" is replaced by a number. The number starts at 1 and is increased by one if the resulting file already exists. PEN=1 Set the default color for the crosshair: 1 = red 2 = green 3 = black 4 = white CX_PRIORITY=0 Set the priority for the commodity. HOTKEY1=control alt s Set the hotkey for saving the entire screen in commodity syntax. HOTKEY2=control alt a Set the hotkey for saving a part of the screen in commodity syntax.
